At Holy Cross Preparatory Academy, our Arts Concentration nurtures students' artistic talents while equipping them with the technical skills and creative confidence to thrive in college and beyond. Through an exciting curriculum - including Studio Art, Graphic Design, Photography, Creative Writing, and Communications - students explore multiple forms of artistic expression while mastering the tools of modern media and design.

Holy Cross Prep Academy is pleased to offer a robust Merit-Based Scholarship Program to reward the best and brightest eighth-grade students in the region who are ready to take their passion for the visual and performing arts to the next level. Three of nine awards within our Merit-Based Scholarship Program are our Excellence in Performing Arts Awards for dancers, actors, and vocalists, our Excellence in Instrumental Music, and Excellence in Art. We also offer an Excellence in English Award for eighth-grade students who are performing excellence within creative writing, literature, and more! Students enroll on scholarship and are presented the opportunity to maintain their scholarship annually.

Course Catalog

Explore courses within English and the Visual and Performing Arts in our course catalog. Holy Cross Preparatory Academy requires a minimum of 20 credits within English and a minimum of 5 credits within the Visual and Performing Arts to graduate. Advanced Placement and Honors courses are also available, which provide students with a rigorous academic course of study. Students may earn college credits either by earning the appropriate AP exam score or, when available, through concurrent enrollment for college credit through Seton Hall University, the College Acceleration Program (CAP) through Rowan College at Burlington County, and/or our partnership with Holy Family University.
