Holy Cross Preparatory Academy (HCPA), an independent preparatory high school in Delran, NJ has an immediate opening for a full-time Head Athletic Trainer, reporting to the Athletic Director. JOB GOAL: To provide athletic training coverage for high school athletic programs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or a related field; Master’s Degree Preferred

• Current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Head Athletic

• Trainers’ Association Board of Certification

• Current state licensure in accordance with the New Jersey Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners

• Current certification in CPR/AED Emergency Cardiac Care

• Ability to pass a background check

 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Athletic Trainer in a high school setting

• Demonstrated leadership capability

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to athletes’ needs

 

THE POSITION:

• Ten (10) month position, plus 80 hours in June/July

• Weekday hours of 12:00 pm through 30 minutes after conclusion of games/practices

• Weekend hours as determined by practice/game schedule and the Athletic Director

• The Head Athletic Trainer will work in accordance with a weekly schedule to be determined by the Athletic Director. Weekly schedules will vary according to the athletic season
