COLLEGE PREP

At Holy Cross, we prepare students to succeed at the next level with our College Prep curriculum.  This is evident in all that we do - from our Collegiate Scheduling to our Dual-Credit Program.  Every student who graduates Holy Cross Preparatory Academy will leave confident in their ability to be successful in college and beyond.

  • Our Guidance Office utilizes Naviance to guide each student’s college application process
  • College Admissions offices visit our school throughout the year to present to our students
  • HCPA hosts an annual College Fair during the school day, with over 50 colleges in attendance

MENTAL HEALTH

The Holy Cross Guidance Office supports the mental health of our students just as much as their physical and academic well being. We strive to end the stigma surrounding mental health and support our students through any struggles they may experience throughout their high school career.

  • Our Guidance Office doors are always open to students of all grade levels
  • Our Counselors are trained in crisis management
  • HCPA celebrates Mental Health Awareness Month by hosting speakers to discuss a variety of mental health topics and offering weekly activities to promote mental wellness/relaxation
  • HCPA makes an effort to encourage open discussions about mental health and wellness

Senior Parent/Student Documents

Below are two important documents - one is for you (students) to fill out and one is for your parents to fill out. They are questionnaires that will help Mrs. Ilaria write your letters of recommendation for college. Mrs. Ilaria is asking that you and your parents fill these out, with as much detail/information as you can about yourselves, and return them to her as soon as you can (preferably prior to the start of the school year so that she can have your letters done ASAP). You can send the completed questionnaires back to Mrs. Ilaria by just sharing the google doc with me. Please make sure to MAKE A COPY of the google doc prior to filling it out. If you have any questions, please let Mrs. Ilaria know.
