Representatives from our Admissions Office visit schools throughout the Fall to talk to prospective students. While we do our best to offer visits to every school in the region, we also recognize that there are sometimes schools outside of our network that have interested students. If you would like a representative from Holy Cross to visit your school for a presentation, please have a school official contact our Admissions Office at email@example.com
Family Tour Days
Throughout the school year we offer families the opportunity to schedule individual tours of our campus. You will meet with an admissions representative, who will walk you through the halls of our building and answer any questions you may have about the programs offered at HCPA. Each tour session can be expected to last approximately an hour. Families must register ahead of time due to limited availability. (*Adherence to social distancing guidelines and mask-wearing will be required during all tours)
Lancer for a Day (student shadow days)
***Temporarily suspended due to COVID-19
We invite interested students to sign up for a shadow day to experience a day in the life of a Holy Cross student. These experiences are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. Each shadow day begins at 8:00AM and ends at 2:15PM. We use a matching system based off your application responses to place you with one of our Lancers (specific hosts can be requested). We ideally like to pair you with a freshman so you can see what your classes and teachers would look like for next year. Parents must arrange transportation for their child to and from Holy Cross (you may not ride the bus with your sibling, neighbor, etc). Lunch is provided for our visitors. However, we ask that you bring your own lunch if you have specific dietary restrictions. (you do NOT need to pay the application fee to participate in a shadow day)
SCHOLARSHIP & PLACEMENT TEST (HSPT)
The High School Placement Test (HSPT) scores are used for multiple purposes at Holy Cross. Results are used to qualify students for academic scholarships, as well as to generate schedules for incoming freshman.
* All incoming freshman are required to take the HSPT to complete the enrollment process at Holy Cross.
For the Class of 2025, we will be utilizing an online HSPT which can be taken anywhere you have internet access using your personal computer or device. Tests will be administered on the following dates:
- October 17, 2020
- November 21, 2020
- December 6, 2020
There is a $20 administration fee for the test that must be submitted to HCPA prior to your test date in order to gain access to the online exam. Checks should be made out to Holy Cross Prep Academy. Please write student name in the memo section of the payment.
You may mail or drop off checks to:
